چکیده

This paper presents results for systems formed in a solid glassy state after nanocrystallization process above the glass temperature. We analyze electric conductivity and relaxation processes such treatment under high temperature (HT) pressure (HP-HT) as well. The latter leads to ca. 8% increase of density, two decades (100) well qualitative changes processes. previtreous-type time on cooling is analyzed by use critical-like 'critical-activated' description. Presented correspond with obtained this material shown ref. [8]. evidence evolution crystallization temperatures, indicating unique possibility maxima crossovers also reported.

Progress and Perspective of Antifouling, Pressure Driven, Flat-Sheet Nanocomposite, Polymeric Membranes in Water Treatment

Membrane filtration, especially based on the size exclusion phenomenon, has long been established due to its abilities to addressing the growing demands of the clean water of the world’s population. However, widespread applications of the membranes face several challenges including chemical vulnerability, thermal deterioration, and biological degradation of the membranes that transpire while re...

Glass transition and relaxation processes in supercooled water.

Many of water's peculiar physical properties are still not well understood, and one of the most important unresolved questions is its glass transition related dynamics. The consensus has been to accept a glass transition temperature (T(g)) around 136 K, but this value has been questioned and reassigned to about 165 K. We find evidence that the dielectric relaxation process of confined water tha...

Ionic current inversion in pressure-driven polymer translocation through nanopores.

We predict streaming current inversion with multivalent counterions in hydrodynamically driven polymer translocation events from a correlation-corrected charge transport theory including charge fluctuations around mean-field electrostatics. In the presence of multivalent counterions, electrostatic many-body effects result in the reversal of the DNA charge. The attraction of anions to the charge...

Variation in glass transition temperature of polymer nanocomposite films driven by morphological transitions.

We report the variation of glass transition temperature in supported thin films of polymer nanocomposites, consisting of polymer grafted nanoparticles embedded in a homopolymer matrix. We observe a systematic variation of the estimated glass transition temperature T(g), with the volume fraction of added polymer grafted nanoparticles. We have correlated the observed T(g) variation with the under...

Generalized spin-glass relaxation.

Spin relaxation close to the glass temperature of CuMn and AuFe spin glasses is shown, by neutron spin echo, to follow a generalized exponential function which explicitly introduces hierarchically constrained dynamics and macroscopic interactions. The interaction parameter is directly related to the normalized Tsallis nonextensive entropy parameter q and exhibits universal scaling with reduced ...
